Power Meter Comparison
We compare the recorded power from your test with our top of the line smart trainers. This helps us identify if your power meter measures high or low. If you use the same power meter, then this may be irrelevant. But this is important if you; have moved onto a new power meter or you are not sure your power meter works as well as it used to. Regular testing helps us ensure your training zones are correct for the equipment you are using.
Power Zones
The debate rages on in the cycling community about how many training zones you should use: some say 3, some say 14. Some say Functional Threshold Power is the be all and end all, others call it the Failure To Perform. We keep it fairly simple and prescribe functional training zones with in-depth descriptions and instructions about how to train with power.
